It is a 6-week, modular program that will enable you to take a long, hard look at what you want, what you need, and what's stopping you from getting it. Finding your goal or your purpose in life is something that can seem far-reaching when faced with challenges. Sometimes, it's easier NOT to look at what is preventing us from achieving personal success or fulfillment. During the 6 weeks, you will increase your skills – like improving the way you communicate with others, dealing well with conflict, becoming comfortable with technology, and much more. RESOURCE CENTRE, EMPLOYMENT COUNSELLING, ONGOING SUPPORT: Program has ongoing intake with start dates every six weeks (location specific), and runs Monday - Friday, 9am-3pm. ~ Job Search Techniques ~ Computer / Internet ~ Stress Management ~ Problem Solving Skills ~ Communication Skills ~ Conflict Resolution ~ Self Esteem Building ~ Self Defeating Learned Behaviours ~ Vocational Assessments, ~ One-on-One Counselling Eligibility: Available for all Canadians who are unemployed or working less than 20 hours a week, and who are eligible to work in Canada.
